Robinson Maternity + Mother & Son Photos in LaGrange, GA

This is a special maternity & mother/son photography session because it’s my cousin, Laura & her son, Collier!

She’s due in August & I knew when she said that she was pregnant that I wanted to take maternity photos. I was prepared to beg. But thankfully, she didn’t make me. Hahaha!

I actually had a dream back in November that she was pregnant & then when we celebrated Christmas as a family, my mom, sister, & I all thought “She’s pregnant.” Then a few months later, she shared that she was. I don’t want to say that I predicted it…but… 🙂 Haha

This is Laura’s second baby—it’s a girl!—so I also wanted to get some photos of her & Collier together to celebrate their relationship before Collier becomes a big brother & isn’t an only child anymore.

Laura suggested taking photos at the Callaway Memorial Tower in LaGrange & I’m so glad she did! There’s plenty of trees, green grass, & even some stairs around the Memorial Tower which makes for a great spot to take photos.

Collier was full of energy! (Why can’t adults have that kind of energy?!) He loved jumping from the top of the stairs surrounding the Memorial Tower all the way to the bottom. Collier even picked flowers for me, my sister, & his mama. He even showed us how he meditates!

As we were headed to sit down & chat, I saw how good the light was at this spot & I immediately stopped. I had to snap a few photos here & I’m so glad I did! The light was perfect, there were trees & pink flowers. Ahh! I just love it!

 This was just the beginning of celebrating Laura & this Baby Girl! In July, my sister & I are throwing a baby shower for her & I’ll be doing a recap on the blog shortly after. Let me just say, we’re so excited!
